Administration plans to extend commuter rail service to New Bedford and Fall River (Wareham Courier)

Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray, Sen. John Kerry, U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern, and CSX Corporation Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Ward announced a comprehensive multi-year rail transportation agreement that significantly increases options for commuters and lays the groundwork for improving the flow of product shipments.
